Partner who co-heads the water law department and member of the mining and environment areas of practice. He specialises in mining project development, due diligence, M&A in the mining industry and mining litigation. His focus in the environmental practice includes regulatory and environmental issues in the development of all kinds of projects and all water law related matters.

He graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, holds an LLM in regulatory law from the same university, and was a member of the Academy of American and International Law of Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law, in Texas USA.

In the academic field, he is professor of mining law at Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello and is a regular speaker at mining at water law and mining seminars such as the mining law session at the University of Chile. He also is the President of the Chilean-Australian Chamber of Commerce’s mining committee since 2018.
