Biography
Beatriz, notary, develops her practice in the real estate department and in the environmental and regulatory department.
She specialises in advising agroindustries, commercial, industrial and housing real estate developments and renewable energy projects, in their structuring, financing and regulatory and environmental compliance. She has experience in mining, having advised mining and oil companies on mining easement processes as well as in the due diligence, lease and mortgages of mining permits.
She has been recognised by the international publications The Legal 500 Latin America, Chambers and IFLR.
She is an officer of the Environmental, Health & Safety Committee of the International Bar Association and founding member of the Consejo Empresarial de Sistema B in Uruguay. She is also a Certified English public translator graduated from the Universidad de la República and holds an LLM in banking and financial law from Boston University.
Beatriz further works as pro bono coordinator at the firm.
