Antonia’s practice in Latin America focuses primarily on corporate finance transactions in emerging markets. She has extensive experience advising on registered public offerings for foreign private issuers, debt and equity securities offerings for Latin American corporate and sovereign issuers (representing both underwriters and issuers) and on Latin America-focused restructuring transactions. Most notably, she advised the underwriters in the Republic of Argentina’s historic $65 billion debt restructuring, Ecopetrol in its largest-ever issuance, and the Republics of Peru, Uruguay and Honduras in bond offerings to support their covid-19 relief efforts.
Most recently, Antonia received Latin Lawyer’s Lifetime Achievement Award, the National Women in Law’s Lifetime Achievement Award and “Outstanding Woman Lawyer by National Law Journal.
