Anthony Oldfield is the managing partner of the São Paulo office. He has more than 25 years' experience focusing on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including takeovers, joint ventures and venture capital transactions, particularly in the Brazil and Latin America region. Anthony is currently ranked as a Leading Lawyer in The Legal 500: corporate/M&A (International Firms). Anthony is also ranked Band 1 in Chambers Corporate/M&A: International – Brazil, one of only two lawyers with this recognition.
Anthony’s recent experience includes having advised Fintech Neon Pagamentos on certain aspects of its capital raise of US$22 million for its expansion, the largest amount ever in a Series A investment in Brazil, and then Neon Pagamentos on its recent Series B fundraising. He has also recently advised Brazil-based fabrics company Fitesa on its acquisition of 51% of spunbond non-wovens maker CNC International.
