Biography
Anthony Oldfield is the managing partner of the São Paulo office. He has more than 25 years' experience focusing on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including takeovers, joint ventures and venture capital transactions, particularly in Brazil and Latin America. Anthony is currently ranked as a Leading Individual in The Legal 500: Corporate/M&A (International Firms), and in Chambers Corporate/M&A: Latin America.
Anthony’s recent experience includes advising fintech start-up Neon in a US$300 million Series D funding round, Klabin on its US$500 million sustainability-linked notes, and BTG Pactual, Citigroup, Credit Agricole, GS, Itau BBA and JP Morgan on the issuance by Itaú Unibanco of US$500 million of notes to finance sustainable projects.
