Biography

Andrew advises project sponsors (including private equity funds), commercial lenders and development finance institutions on award-winning project financings and asset level acquisitions including: Fluxys SA in its joint bid with EIG for GNL Quintero, the largest LNG regasification terminal in Chile; Saavi Energia (a GIP portfolio company) and its lenders on various project financings in Mexico; Lenzing and Duratex on the US$1.1 billion development and IFC/IDB/Finnvera-led financing of a dissolving wood pulp plant, Brazil; White Summit Capital and Riverstone Capital on the acquisition of two solar photovoltaic plants in Mexico; ContourGlobal’s US$535 million acquisition financing of two combined cycle power plants in Mexico from Alpek; Reden Solar SAS on the US$100 million warehouse financing of a portfolio of solar projects, Chile; Blue Marine on the GIP-led financing of an FPSO to be chartered to Pemex, Mexico; the lender group on the US$216 million refinancing of the Termotasajero power plant, Colombia; the consortium of Vinci, Aeroports de Paris and Astaldi on the US$900 million expansion and financing of the Arturo Merino Benitez Airport, Chile; and JBIC and commercial lenders on the US$1.1 billion financing of the Caserones mine, Chile.
