Biography

Ana Paula has extensive experience in corporate law, corporate governance, public offerings and M&A transactions involving listed companies and ESG requirements, where her focus is on governance-related matters.

Before joining BMA in December/2012, Ana Paula was a founding partner of a small law firm. She was a legal adviser with the National Financial System Appeals Council – CRSFN (2004–2009), participating actively in strategic discussions involving administrative infractions. She has acted as legal counsel to the Office of the President of ABRASCA – Brazilian Association of Listed Companies, and interned with the Central Bank of Brazil.

Ana Paula is Vice-President of ABRASCA’s Capital Markets Commission, and has been a member of the CVM’s Advisory Committee on Education since 2006. She is a member of the Panel of Judges for the CVM Press Prize and the CVM – B3 Monograph Competition. She has been a member of ABRASCA’s Legal Commission since 2004.
