Biography
Ana Cristina specialises in corporate and commercial law, mergers & acquisitions and capital markets focusing on transactional work to attend business needs for diverse clients. She has over 14 years’ experience advising national and foreign clients in legal matters both in Colombia and abroad in particular with corporate restructurings and mergers and acquisitions in Colombia and Latin America.
Ana Cristina has a law degree, magna cum laude from the University of los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia 2004), a law master's degree (LLM) from Harvard University (Cambridge US 2008) and a master's in business administration (MBA) from Imperial College (London UK 2016).
Before joining Norton Rose Fulbright as partner, she had acted as founder and co-head of the M&A practice for a recognised international firm opening operations in Colombia. Prior to that she was acting as manager of government affairs at Drummond Ltd, a multinational mining and gas company in Colombia and before that, she worked for many years as associate at a very important local law firm.
