Biography
Álvaro is a partner of Gómez-Pinzón’s tax and customs practice group and he is part of the litigation and conflict resolution, where exercises as tax litigation expert. He has more than 20 years of experience in controversies resolution, advisory services and transfer pricing. His experience involves advising national and international companies in the following sectors: telecommunications, construction, infrastructure, hydrocarbons, etc. He has been a professor of tax law at Universidad del Rosario, Universidad Javeriana and the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá and authored the book: Sentencias de Unificación Jurisprudencial y Mecanismo de Extensión / Aplicación en Materia Tributaria.
