Biography

Alfredo has been a partner at the firm since 2002 and is a leading practitioner in the fields of real estate and project development investment. He provides legal and business advice to multinational and Mexican companies in all types of corporate transactions involving joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, lease agreements, restructuring contracts, project financing, investments, public bids and regulatory issues in general.

He also leads the firm’s immigration practice and has experience providing advice to national and foreign companies for both local immigration and the relocation of expats and their families to Mexico. As well as advice to individuals with respect to their immigration status.

Alfredo’s work includes active representation of diverse clients from a wide variety of industries, in multi-million-dollar transactions and investments in the areas of real estate, energy and projects for their consolidation in Mexico.

He obtained a master's degree in corporate law, postgraduate studies in tax law and a law degree from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City, Mexico.

He is a member of the Mexican Bar Association (BMA) and the National Corporate Counsel Association (Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa, Colegio de Abogados – ANADE) where he acts as academic coordinator for the Corporate Law Committee.
