Biography
Alejandro is a partner of Beccar Varela. He joined the firm in 2010, when it merged with Fortunati & Asociados. His practice areas include banking and finance, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, project finance and oil and gas. Alejandro leads international and local M&A transactions, representing buyers, sellers and financial advisers; he also participates in IPOs, local and international bond offerings, securitisations through financial trusts; structured finance and other financial transactions. He also participated in several transactions related to the oil and gas industry.
Alejandro obtained his law degree from Catholic University of Argentina (1998) and his LLM from Cornell University, USA (2002). He also has postgraduate degrees in oil and gas from the University of Buenos Aires (2014) and in capital markets from the Catholic University of Argentina (2003). He worked as a foreign associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP (New York, USA, 2006–2007).
