Biography
Alejandro Landa Thierry has a wide range of experience representing Mexican and foreign companies and financial institutions in all financial transactions, including domestic and cross-border financings, asset-backed and future-flow securitisations, aircraft and transportation financing, and leveraged leasing. His practice focuses on bank and corporate finance, capital markets, structured finance, mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring, project finance, energy and real estate matters.
Mr Landa is well versed in advising Mexican financial institutions and rating agencies in public finance matters. He is highly knowledgeable in the procedures and filings before the Ministry of Finance, National Banking and Securities Commission, Ministry of Communications and Transports, Mexican Antitrust Commission, and other federal and local government entities, including the Comisión Reguladora de Energía and the Centro Nacional de Control de Energía. He also advises clients on financial and securities cross-border litigation and arbitration matters.
