Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1972. Currently regional managing partner of the firm. He holds a degree from the University of the Republic (doctorate in law and social science and postgraduate certificate in intellectual property). He has spearheaded and developed practice areas and industries like antitrust, life sciences, technology, media and telecommunications, entertainment, advertising and sports. He specialises in and leads the intellectual property area.

Sits on the board of the Uruguay–United States Chamber of Commerce and the board of directors of Council of the Americas. He is also an officer of the Latin American Forum of the International Bar Association as well as a member of its Intellectual Property Committee. Member of the Uruguayan Association of Industrial Property Agents and of the Uruguayan Bar Association. 

Professor of intellectual property in the degree programme in biotechnology at Universidad ORT (Uruguay), and is a founding member of the Intellectual Property Group of University of Montevideo.
