His practice covers the full range of corporate finance and is primarily focused on secured lending and asset financing, credit products, real estate financing, restructuring and workouts.
He has a particular focus on the banking, real estate, hospitality and fintech sectors, where he frequently assists clients making sense of the risks and opportunities associated with new regulations. Some of the clients that Adrián has advised include leading financial institutions and leading companies such as Bank of America, Bank of Montreal, Citibanamex, BBVA Bancomer, CIBanco, Bancomext, Fonadin, Macquarie Bank Limited, Ripple, Galileo Financial Technologies, Klar, WEX, Carval, Prudential, MetLife, MREIT, SAAB and TYASA.
Adrian obtained a postgraduate degree on commercial law at the Universidad Panamericana (UP), obtained an LLM in banking and financial law from Boston University in 2009, and obtained postgraduate degrees in Fintech Law (2018) and Fintech Secondary Regulations (2019) from UP, He has been a visiting professor of comparative law at UP, a speaker in diverse private and public fintech and commercial law forums and a contributor to diverse publications and law reviews.
With extensive international experience, Adrián joined the firm in 2012 where he was made partner in 2016.
