With more than 575 lawyers in 17 offices worldwide, Haynes and Boone, LLP is a leading AmLaw 100 law firm, with one of the largest Latin American practices in the US. The firm’s Mexico City office, which has been serving clients for more than 25 years, is one of the largest offices in Mexico of any Texas-based law firm, with approximately 25 lawyers and law clerks. The Mexico City office includes Mexican lawyers, law clerks and US and Argentine licensed lawyers who focus on a variety of legal areas and business sectors in Mexico and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

The role of the Houston office has also grown with increased energy work in Mexico, with the presence of experienced transactional partners with in-depth Mexican experience. The firm has been particularly active in various energy projects in Mexico. The firm also is very active in cross-border Brazilian work, in particular, subscription-based finance, as well as M&A projects in Argentina, Central America and the Caribbean. The firm has a dedicated team helping clients with the new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). Overall, the firm’s Mexico and Latin American practices comprise approximately 60 lawyers, working from Dallas, Houston, New York, Mexico City, Austin, Washington, DC, London and Shanghai.
