Garrigues is an international firm with more than 75 years’ experience in business law. It entered Latin America four decades ago and, since then, the region has been an important part of the firm’s strategy and now constitutes the cornerstone of Garrigues’ international expansion process.
Since Garrigues began this new phase in 2013 with the rollout of its own Latin American practice, it has become the European law firm with the largest geographical own network in Latin America. It has also been the first to commit to the progressive opening of its own office network, staffed with local teams who share the same business culture.
Garrigues currently has more than 200 professionals in Latin America, distributed among its five offices: Bogota, Lima, Mexico City, Santiago de Chile and São Paulo. Garrigues has one of the largest networks of own offices in the region among the major European law firms. It also has its own offices in Spain (in 18 cities), Belgium, China (Beijing and Shanghai), Portugal, Poland, Morocco, the United Kingdom and the United States.

- The firm’s regional structure, with offices in the main Latin American financial centres, meets our clients’ needs by delivering a first-rate, coordinated and seamless service.
- Garrigues’ goal is to keep expanding and consolidating its presence in Latin America and worldwide. Accordingly, the firm plans to shortly open offices in other key countries for its clients.
