E.Munhoz Advogados is a boutique law firm focused on litigation (judicial and arbitration), corporate law and restructuring. It is not aimed to be a full-service firm, but rather dedicated to complex and critical matters in the aforementioned fields of practice. An important part of the firm’s policy consists in limiting the number of cases in which it is involved, prioritising quality rather than quantity.
The firm uses a multidisciplinary approach to obtain the best outcome for its clients in their biggest issues. This approach is reflected in a single, integrated team, without practice area distinctions. Team members are assigned to each matter as the case and context requires based on the relevance of their skills and experience.
In fact, innovation is frequently accredited by the market and clients to founding partner Eduardo Munhoz as one of his strongest characteristics. Munhoz and other professionals of E.Munhoz have taken part in the largest restructuring (in court and out-of-court) cases in Brazil in past years, including Odebrecht Group, Constellation Group, Odebrecht Agroindustrial, EAS Group, Concessionária Rodovias do Tietê, Odebrecht Oil and Gas, Oi Group, PDG Group, OAS Group, as well as the most significant corporate litigation and arbitration cases involving Brazilian entities, such as Camargo Corrêa Investimentos, BTG Pactual, JBS, J&F Investimentos, Associação dos Fabricantes Brasileiros de Coca-Cola, Neoenergia/Eletropaulo and Usiminas. In all of them, Eduardo Munhoz and his team have been crucial in building a creative and successful outcome.
