Most of our work in the Nicaragua office pertains to business law, namely corporate reorganisations, legal audits, distribution contracts, complex due diligence and M&A transactions, as well as advice on day-to-day matters, particularly to local banks and other financial institutions with an emphasis on capital markets. The team is also strong in the mining industry, advising international heavyweight clients on their incursion into the Nicaragua market, including negotiations, drafting mining agreements, advising joint ventures for mining projects, applying for regulatory approval of mining concessions and structuring models for projects related to the industry. In intellectual property, we are recognised for proficiency in trademark and copyright infringement litigation, administrative procedures involving intellectual property and patent matters. The real estate practice in Nicaragua specialises in due diligence, negotiations, guarantee deeds and purchase transactions.

Our office is in the capital city of Managua.
