CDPQ enters LatAm power transmission market
Canadian pension fund Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (CDPQ) has hired Pinheiro Neto Advogados in São Paulo, Peruvian firm Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas and Ferrere (Uruguay) to acquire power transmission assets for 265 million euros (US$279 million).

Oi settles BNDES and BTG Pactual debt after mobile unit sale
BMA – Barbosa, Müssnich, Aragão in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo has helped Oi repay 6.6 billion reais (US$1.4 billion) worth of debt to Brazilian development bank BNDES and BTG Pactual, following the sale of its mobile division to Claro, Telefónica and TIM.
