Andrea Vainer is a criminal defence attorney and a partner at Torres, Falavigna & Vainer - Advogados.
She holds a law degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and was an exchange student at Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois, 2010.
She has a postgraduate in corporate criminal law from the Institute of Corporate and European Criminal Law – Coimbra University (IDPEE), Portugal, in partnership with the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences (IBCCRIM), 2012.
Ms Vainer also holds a master’s degree (LLM) from the University of Chicago, 2018. She was approved in the New York State Bar Exam and admitted to practise as an attorney in the State of New York.
Ms Vainer was also appointed by Análise Editorial magazine as one of the most admired attorneys in the Brazil, in the economic sector of machinery and equipment, in 2018, and one of the most admired Brazilian criminal defence attorneys in 2019.
She is member of the Commissions for Legal Affairs of the Jewish Confederation of Brazil and the Israeli Federation in São Paulo.
Ms Vainer is also currently a lecturer in law at FIA – Business School, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
