Mr Garza is a partner at Nader, Hayaux & Goebel and his main areas of practice include banking, structured finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, telecom, and project finance. Mr Garza has worked in some of the largest structured finance transactions, representing both sponsors and financial intermediaries. Also, he regularly works in financing transactions, specialised banking and financial regulatory work, debt restructurings, structuring and implementation of equity funds, including in the real estate and infrastructure markets, mergers and acquisitions of financial assets and financial intermediaries, and foreign investment and joint venture transactions in a variety of industries, including telecom.

Mr Garza is a graduate of Universidad Panamericana (attorney at law 1997, summa cum laude). He has a master’s of law degree from the University of Texas (1999). He has worked as foreign as foreign associate at Mayer Brown LLP (Chicago, 2002–2003). He is a professor of international financial law and financial intermediaries at Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City. Julián has been a lecturer of Mexican business and commercial law at the University of Texas in Austin.
