Macquarie buys Mexican pipeline assets from Spanish sellers

Australian investor Macquarie Infrastructure Partners has turned to Cuatrecasas (Mexico) and Galicia Abogados in Mexico City to purchase the local gas pipeline operations of Spanish energy company Elecnor and its subsidiary Enagás for US$173 million.

Innergex gets US$50 million for solar storage project in Chile

Canadian renewables group Innergex has hired DLA Piper LLP in New York and Buenos Aires to obtain a loan worth C$67 million (US$50 million) to build a battery energy storage project at a solar plant in Chile.
