Argentine motorway dispute returns to ICSID

Spanish infrastructure group Abertis has filed an International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) claim against Argentina over motorway concessions – more than six years after settling an earlier case at the centre.

Oxy loses further claim against Amazon oil block partner

An International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) tribunal has thrown out a US$310 million claim by Occidental Exploration and Production Company against its Chinese former partner in an Ecuadorean oil block, finding it was barred by res judicata because of an earlier award.
