Chile’s Softys buys Mexican assets from Belgian hygiene group

Latham & Watkins LLP in New York and Basham, Ringe y Correa in Mexico City have helped Chilean personal hygiene group Softys acquire the Mexican operations of Belgian counterpart Ontex Group for €265 million (US$291 million).
