New types of investment fund in Brazil
On November 29 the National Monetary Council authorised the establishment of funds for investment in credit rights and funds for investment in quotas of credit rights investment funds. According to Resolution 2907 issued by the Central Bank of Brazil, only multiple and commercial banks, the Federal Savings Bank, investment banks, credit, finance and investment companies, securities brokerage houses and securities dealers are authorised to manage these funds.
