Roberto Silva, Jr has been a partner since 1996 and is a member of the firm’s banking and finance team.
Roberto is a leader in securitisations and trusts. He has advised TMF Trust, Equity Trust, ABN AMRO, Banco Comafi, Banco Supervielle, ICBC, BST, MBA, Banco Valores, Advanced Capital and Banco Itau, on hundreds of securitisations.
He is a leader in capital markets, participating in numerous issuances, as well as IPOs, including advised Morgan Stanley, Oppenheimer, Bank of America and Goldman Sachs. He has also advised on sovereign debt.
Roberto has advised on the sale of several banks and also participated in the restructuring of banks.
He has advised banks and multilaterals on local and international lending. He participated in the Stoneway/Araucaria project finance, a landmark transaction.
He is also specialised in the FX controls field and has successfully handled around 50 Central Bank administrative proceedings and financial criminal lawsuits.
