Ignacio Londoño Rivera has over 15 years’ experience in the areas of commercial and business law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring processes, foreign investment, industrial property and antitrust law.
From 2001 onwards, he worked at the Colombian law firm of which he was a founding partner: De la Calle, Londoño, Lopez & Posada Abogados. Prior to founding the firm, he worked as director of the Bogota Trade Point, a programme promoted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development; lawyer for the Revolving Fund of the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and lawyer of Fiduciaria Colombiana de Comercio Exterior (FIDUCOLDEX).
Ignacio Londoño Rivera holds a law degree from Universidad de los Andes (Bogota), majoring in international contracts, and a master of laws (LLM) in corporate, telecommunications and financial law from Columbia University (New York City).
