Having joined Bergstein Abogados in 2005, Mr Leonardo Melos is the partner in charge of the complex litigation, arbitration and antitrust practice. He was appointed as judge by the Supreme Court of Justice, serving in that capacity between 2006–2007. As a judge, Mr Melos conducted the first stages and initial investigations of criminal activities within its jurisdiction.

In 2007, he rejoined the firm, where he continued practising in the litigation department with an emphasis on the telecommunications, construction and credit card market. Since then, Mr Melos has represented corporate clients and individuals in resolving (among others) matters related to white-collar crimes (tax crimes, fraud, misappropriation, etc); all with an excellent track record.

Having worked at WilmerHale arbitration group in London, Mr Melos has been consistently recognised as a leading litigation practitioner by publications such as Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, Public Enforcement Law Review and Latin Lawyer.
