Théra van Swaay De Marchi joined Pinheiro Neto Advogados in 1991. De Marchi worked as a foreign associate at Trenite Van Doorne, Rotterdam (1996). She holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1992), and a master’s degree in law from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland (1996), having won the Chevening Award of the British Council. She is fluent in Portuguese, English and Dutch. De Marchi’s practice encompasses civil and consumer law, with emphasis on healthcare law covering consultancy, litigation and regulatory matters. She was listed in the Latin Lawyer 250 and “Most Admired Lawyers in Brazil” published by Análise Jurídica in 2014 and 2018. She was elected as member of the Steering Committee of Pinheiro Neto from 2012 to 2017. She is also the head of the healthcare and pension committee of Pinheiro Neto as of 2009.
