Marcio Polto joined the firm as an associate in 1998 and became a partner in 2006. He worked at the Baker & McKenzie Miami offices in 2005, in the dispute resolution practice group. He has written several articles and makes speeches on a broad range of legal matters, including corporate litigation, crisis management and product liability. He is a professor of civil procedure, currently on leave, and has given classes at several universities and preparation courses for bar exams and selective admission exams in São Paulo. Marcio is engaged in the civil and commercial litigation area, including corporate disputes. He is experienced in US law (litigation, complex litigation and trial lawyering), as well as in alternative forms of dispute resolution, among which local and international arbitration. He is the head partner responsible for coordinating the civil litigation practice group.
