Mr Buey Fernández is a partner of the firm. He specialises in debt and corporate restructurings, insolvency and bankruptcy, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate law, banking law, civil and commercial contracts, and arbitration. In 1985, he practised as a foreign lawyer with the law firm of Tew, Jorden, Schulte and Beasley, in Florida, USA.
Mr Buey Fernández graduated from the University of Buenos Aires Law School in 1979. He is also a graduate of Harvard Law School, where he received a master’s in law degree in 1985.
As a full professor, he has also taught comparative capital markets law at the ESEADE, and commercial law in the companies in crisis masters’ degree programme at the University of Buenos Aires Economic Sciences School.
He has been recognised by several publications, as Chambers and Latin Lawyer as a leading lawyer in several of his specialty areas.
