Cesar is the leader of legal corporate M&A function of Deloitte México. He has over 18 years of professional experience providing legal advice to domestic and foreign clients in M&A, corporate matters and financial transactions. He has participated in several M&A projects in the US, Mexico and Latin America, in various industries.
Prior to joining the Deloitte M&A Transaction Services Group, Cesar spent 10 years in the M&A and corporate transactions group of Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enriquez, one year as a foreign attorney at the New York office of Morrison & Foerster and five years as a partner of Bufete Carrillo Gamboa, SC, all of them renowned legal services firms specialised in M&A transactions.
César has led several M&A processes involving customers in the automotive, hospitality, telecommunications, transportation and manufacturing industries and has acted as legal counsel to public companies in Mexico and the US, as well as various US-based private equity funds.
He is a lawyer admitted to practise in Mexico since 2004, where he obtained his degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho. He also obtained an LLM degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2006 and a diploma in negotiation from Harvard University in 2005.
