He obtained his law degree at Universidad Francisco Marroquin, Guatemala, where he also obtained his qualification as an attorney and notary public. He is an LLM candidate in information technology law at Stockholm University in Sweden. He is authorised as notary public and attorney by the Supreme Court of Justice of Guatemala. Luis Pedro is a professor of Guatemalan history at Universidad Francisco Marroquín and a professor in corporate law at Universidad del Itsmo.
