Biography
Rodrigo joined the firm in 2003 and became a partner in 2014. He is co-managing partner and a member of the firm’s executive committee.
Rodrigo focuses mainly on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and banking transactions. He is noted for regularly advising international clients on general corporate matters and cross-border transactions with parties in multiple jurisdictions, including the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Rodrigo has acted as counsel in some of the largest M&A transactions in the country and has been a leading lawyer advising clients on numerous types of financings in key cross-border and local transactions, including syndicated loan financings, locally registered equity and bond offerings, institutional placements of securities, and Regulation S and 144A offerings.
Rodrigo has a BA from Duke University and a JD from Washington University School of Law.
He is admitted to practise in Panama and Florida.
