Andrés Montoya is a partner at Posse Herrera Ruiz. He co-heads the real estate development and trusts practice area and has a strong practice in dispute resolution.
Andres has experience advising clients in legal developments of real estate projects from the planning to the closing phase. He has also been dealing with national and international arbitration and in projects regarding infrastructure, utilities, acquisitions, public bidding processes and contractual liability.
His practice focuses on real estate and urban projects, and includes M&As, corporate structures, regulatory matters, civil and administrative litigation and the defence of national and international corporations in government investigations.
Andres is a professor of civil and commercial law at undergraduate and graduate levels at different Colombian universities.
He received an LLM from McGill University and a JD from the Universidad de Caldas. He speaks Spanish and English.
