In the antitrust and competition arena, Ricardo focuses on merger control, cartel investigations and abuse of dominance cases, as well as preventive consultation and training programmes for clients. Ricardo is also actively involved in mergers & acquisitions, representing both Mexican and international clients.

Ricardo joined Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa (now Hogan Lovells) in 1993. Chambers, Who's Who Legal and The Legal 500 all rank Ricardo as a top lawyer.
