Marcos Payssé, partner, mainly works in the banking, corporate and M&A department. He is a professor of banking law capital markets at the law school of the Montevideo University and has been invited as a professor of the clinic course on antitrust of the same college.
He obtained a law master’s (LLM) in securities and financial regulation from Georgetown University Law Center (Washington DC, USA, 2009). His experience includes participation in corporate and project finance transactions, public and private securities offerings, banking transactions in general, mergers and acquisitions and antitrust.
He is author of several publications and speaker in his speciality.
Recognised by international publications such as Chambers and Partners, IFLR 1000 and The Legal 500 for his performance in banking, project finance and mergers & acquisitions. Marcos is also LACCA Approved.
