He has been chosen by Chambers Latin America as one of the leading individuals in capital markets in Brazil and by IFLR1000 as one of the leading lawyers in Brazil. Carlos is recognised by LACCA Approved as a lawyer recommended in corporate/M&A and banking by members of the renowned Latin American Corporate Counsel Association, linked to the Latin Lawyer group.
Prior to his entry at Lefosse Advogados, Carlos was partner at Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr & Quiroga and an associate at Milbank, Tweed Hadley & McCloy, in New York. Carlos obtained his bachelor’s degree from University of São Paulo, his master’s degree from Columbia University and was admitted to the New York State Bar Association in 2002.
