Biography

As part of the energy and natural resources practice group, Lina leads all environmental matters of the firm, and is also a member of the corporate/M&A group. She represents clients in matters involving environmental laws, regulations and policies as they relate to transactions, litigation and compliance.

In her 26 years of experience she has assisted clients in obtaining licences and permits, the preparation of legal concepts and opinions, advice regarding the challenging of administrative resolutions from environmental authorities, advice on legal environmental actions such as collective actions and group actions, regulations regarding management and disposal of hazardous wastes and remediation actions for contaminated sites.
