Biography
Jean Paul Farah specialises in banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, project finance, restructurings and real estate. He has acted as counsel for leading international banks and export credit agencies in financings and restructurings for numerous private and public sector entities in several industries. His M&A practice involves representing private equity firms in their equity and mezzanine investments in Mexico.
His expertise and experience, practicality and a thorough search for solutions has enabled him excellent relations with clients, as he seeks to customise ad hoc structures, with the client’s interests in mind.
Career: Joined Ritch Mueller in 1994, and partner since 2003. Foreign associate at Uria Menéndez, Madrid (1997) and at Shearman & Sterling, New York (1998). Law degree – Universidad Panamericana, Mexico (1993), master's in law specialised in securities, banking and M&A – Columbia University (1997).
