Based in Mexico City, Omar joined Hogan Lovells (formerly Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa) in 1993. Since joining the firm, he has advised companies in the pharmaceutical, hospitality, telecom, food, construction, IT and agro-business industries.
As a litigator, Omar has won cases before domestic and international arbitral tribunals, judges throughout Mexico, and even justices at the Supreme Court. He has also acted as arbitrator in domestic and international disputes. Omar has a significant practice in administrative litigation, including discrimination cases.
He helps companies in mergers, cartel investigations, and other antitrust-related proceedings. Omar tries cases before competition authorities and federal courts, including the Supreme Court.
