Alberto de la Parra focuses his practice on infrastructure, including the energy, oil and gas, highway projects, mining, aviation and airport sectors. His areas of practice include project structuring, corporate and project financing, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate counselling.

Alberto has significant experience representing clients in the structuring of energy generation projects in Mexico, and particularly in matters related with the transport sector. One of his most important representations was the privatisation of the Mexican airport system, where he counselled the Mexican government.

Alberto counseled Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de México on the implementation of the financial plan for the construction of what would be the most important airport in Latin America.

Recently, Alberto also has represented Banco Santander on a US$250 million financing to GMéxico Transportes SAB de CV (GMXT) for the acquisition of the Florida East Coast Railway (FECR), the refinancing of Abent 3T, SAPI de CV for US $381.0 million, and for Fibra Uno for US$1.1 billion.
