Biography

André Vertullo Bernini is a partner at Pinheiro Neto Advogados, where he has worked since 2001. He practises corporate law, with focus on M&A, distressed M&A and private equity deals. Bernini holds an LLB degree from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2003) and a graduate degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2007). He also holds an LLM degree from Columbia Law School, in New York (2010), where he graduated with academic honours (Harlan Fiske Stone scholar). Bernini worked as foreign associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, New York, from 2010 through 2011. He was admitted to the Brazilian Bar in 2004 and to the New York State Bar in 2013.
