Cesar Coronel Jones focuses his law practice on domestic and international litigation and arbitration, and complex corporate transactions. Aside from acting as counsel in ICC and ICSID arbitrations, he has appeared as expert witness on Ecuadorian law before foreign and international tribunals at the request of companies such as Chevron Corporation and BASF. He also acts as arbitrator in international and domestic arbitration cases.
He is the current President of the Ecuadorian Academy of Corporate Law and has served as member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and as President of the Arbitration Centre of the Guayaquil Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as professor of civil law and as Dean of the Law School at the Catholic University of Guayaquil.
