Catalina joined the firm in 2005 and, after completing her master's degree and professional experience abroad, she returned in 2012 to lead the labour and employment team. She has more than 14 years of experience exclusively devoted to the area of labour law and social security. During that time, she has advised companies in a host of matters related to individual and collective labour law and social security issues.
Catalina is a graduate of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and is admitted to practise in Colombia and in Spain. She obtained an LLM degree in international legal practice at Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. She also obtained an executive master's degree in business law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues, in collaboration with the Harvard Law School in Madrid. Furthermore, she pursued additional studies in labour law and social security at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Currently, she alternates her practice with lectures on labour and employment law at the Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración (CESA).
