He leads the dispute resolution, litigation strategies and negotiation practice. Eduardo provides advice in judicial proceedings of civil, commercial, administrative and constitutional nature, arbitrations, out-of-court settlements, negotiation and mediation, administrative procedures before various instances, antitrust matters, regulatory, consumer and legislation matters related to the prevention of laundering of money and assets, disputes in relation with intellectual property and trademark defence, criminal proceedings related to the client’s business activity: mismanagement, fraud or improper appropriations, labour matters, distribution and compensation relationships, among others.
Prior to joining Arias, he worked for several years in the constitutional field at the Supreme Court of Justice. He has a law degree from Universidad Dr Jose Matías Delgado in 2000; an LLM in financial and entrepreneurial law from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (2008), LLM in enterpreneurial law (2011) and is a candidate for a doctorate from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. He attended Harvard Negotiation Institute in 2014.
Eduardo is very active in pro bono work and has been a leader within the firm to promote actions to benefit society.
