Miguel Ishii is partner and head of the corporate practice of Jauregui y Del Valle. He has more than 20 years' experience providing corporate advice to clients in an array of industries, including electric components, automobile, electricity, logistics, equity funds, hospitality, real estate, food, tobacco and electronics, with emphasis in complex business transactions, including M&A, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures, private equity, restructuring and workouts. He also advises clients frequently in matters of shareholder disputes, corporate governance and professionalisation of family businesses.
Mr Ishii has a deep knowledge of commercial and contractual law, supplemented with a solid understanding of the principles of other areas of law, such as regulatory, tax, labour, litigation and IP This combination makes him particularly suited for designing, drafting and negotiating sophisticated structures and documents, giving attention to the early detection and cross-relation of the sundry issues commonly converging on complex business transactions.
