Fermín Caride is a partner in the financial services and capital markets department. His practice focuses on corporate financing, investment projects and capital markets transactions, specialising in stock market, banking and exchange regulations. He regularly handles summary exchange, financial and stock market proceedings before the Argentinian Central Bank, the National Securities Commission and other share markets. Between 2007 and 2008, he worked as a foreign associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. In 2008, he also worked as in-house counsel at Merrill Lynch, advising the principal credit group in credit and investment operations in Latin America, working for the teams in New York, San Pablo, Mexico City and Buenos Aires.
He is deputy member of the governing board of the Banks’ Legal Representatives Committee of Argentina and a professor of the master’s degree in financing at the Business School of Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Buenos Aires and a member of the Young Counsel of the Latin American Regional Forum of the International Bar Association.
