Biography
Daniel Winick is in the Americas banking and finance group. His practice focuses on representing major domestic and foreign financial institutions and corporate and sponsor borrowers in secured and unsecured financing transactions, including acquisition finance, asset-backed and structured finance deals, project and export finance transactions and other financing transactions.
Daniel’s experience includes advising Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and Itau BBA, as arrangers of approximately US$230 million in loans to PetroRecôncavo, backing its acquisition from Petrobras of 34 onshore oilfields and related assets in Brazil; and the AELA Group, a joint venture owned by Actis and Mainstream Renewable Power, on the financing of the development of the 170MW Sarco and 129MW Aurora wind farms located in Chile.
