Julio Caballero, who leads the firm’s labour and social security law practice, has extensive domestic and cross-border experience in employment, collective bargaining and social security matters and is consistently recommended as a leading expert in the field by global and local rankings.
Mr Caballero has served as consultant for the International Labor Organization (OIT) and several business associations in Argentina. He also sits on several collective bargaining agreements negotiating committees, both at activity and company levels, in fields such as metallurgical, steel, construction and ceramics industries, mobile phone and communication services, education, commerce and services, among others.
Prior to co-founding the firm, Mr Caballero was partner at Bruchou, Fernández Madero, Lombardi & Mitrani (2005–2007); Techint Group’s labour law director (1987–2005); and officer at the National Labour Courts (1980–1987). He is a frequent lecturer on labour law matters and has authored and co-authored several treatises and articles appearing in specialist publications.
