Valeria is one of the three partners heading up the environmental practice. She graduated from the University of Chile and has focused her practice on the environmental field since 2000. She has mainly worked in the private sector, working at renowned law firms advising both domestic and foreign clients.
She has participated in the development of significant environmental projects. She has vast experience in issues involving the environmental impact assessment system, obtaining permits, administrative and judicial environmental litigations. She also has developed studies regarding environmental contingency issues.
Moreover, she has done academic work at the University of Chile and has published a citizen’s participation handbook.
